I’ve always had a love affair with pictures. I didn’t need to be in them – I just enjoyed looking at them. I could sit for hours going thru family photo albums. It wasn’t until I was looking for a photographer to document my own wedding that the light turned on and for the next 2 years I followed that light. After spending the summer and fall of 2010 assisting/2nd shooting at weddings, I realized I had found something that I was truly PASSIONATE about. I knew this was what I wanted to do.
With every picture, there’s a captured moment, a story waiting to be told. There’s nothing better than looking at a picture and feeling the emotion in it. So when I pick up the camera, I want to tell the story, whether it be that quick glance just between the two of you, documenting the events as they unfold throughout the day or simply capturing a particular time in your life. I want to capture those special moments of LIFE, LOVE and LAUGHTER!
A few random things about me:
- I could live off a diet consisting of Life Saver Gummies and Diet Coke. For real!
- I look forward to summer afternoon drives with my husband, Raf.
- I love the islands and hope to retire on one. The warm weather and sunshine make me feel alive.
- I love hanging out with my family and close friends. There’s nothing better than spending time with the ones you love.
- I love anything HGTV
- I love Sundays on the couch watching Law & Order SVU marathons.
- I have a love affair with snow crab legs. Yes, Raf knows all about it.
- I LOVE Haitian cooking - Gotta have my red rice and beans.
- I am grateful for everyday that I wake up and breathe. God is truly AMAZING!
- I love laughing til I’m in tears!
