Maternity Session | Brooklyn Botanical Gardens

A few weeks ago on a warm Fall afternoon, I got together with Dayna for her maternity session. All week I kept watch on the forecast which was predicting rain and we lucked out with a beautiful sunny afternoon. I’d never been to the Botanical Gardens before and the scenery was absolutely stunning (I definitely want to shoot there again). Dayna was an absolute natural and had no problem turning in on for the camera. Her stunning beauty along with the gorgeous scenery of the park made for some beautiful images.

Dayna, you are a gorgeous Mother-to-be!!! Thank you for the opportunity to document this special time and we all look forward to meeting Baby Clarke when she makes her arrival into the world!

A few weeks ago, I was doing a prayer dance to the sun gods. It seemed that everytime I had a session scheduled, there was rain in the forecast and it rained. The forecast for this particular Sunday was no exception, except that it didn’t rain. I guess that prayer dance finally worked!!! I had an awesome time photographing Eric and Wendy who are anxiously waiting the arrival of their little boy. What came out during this session was the love and tenderness between these two. I just loved how Eric was soo attentive to Wendy during the session.

In this next picture, We added in the baby’s new Teddy Bear along with Eric’s little-itty-bitty teddy bear that he had as a kid. Love it!!

Miguel + Wendy | Fairfield County Maternity Session

When Miguel reached out to Raf and I about doing a maternity session I jumped with joy. I was soo excited to have the opportunity to capture their wedding day and to now be able to document another milestone in their lives. These two are an amazing couple! After bringing on the heat during their wedding portraits back in the fall, I was looking forward to them bringing the fire in this session. They did not fail!!! You could just feel their love every time they looked into each other’s eyes.

Wendy and Miguel, we had a blast during this session and we can’t wait to meet baby Mia (who’s due to arrive any day now)!

I think the next two images are my absolute favorite.Hm.. No, maybe this one is!The next two images are taken from 2 different angles. Mine on the left and Raf’s on the right. Love it!!!I love this shot that Raf got. Work it Wendy!!
