During your lifetime, people will come and go. The ones that happen to stay a while manage to leave a lasting impression. My friend Jocelyn is just one of those people. I met her 8 years ago at work and we hit it off instantly! We’ve had some really great times together – I took my very first swimming lessons with her at NYSC, traveled together on business to the Bahamas, hung out in SoBe and have done things that girlfriends do. She was my sounding board during my wedding planning – going over endless ideas and samples of flowers, dresses, tablecloths, table settings, invitation layouts and let’s not forget the various types of orchids. Geez!!! Jocelyn is one of those people who’s a really calm soul, super sweet and you just can’t help but love her. I mean, when she bats those eyes, you just give in. Just don’t get her mad, cause she lowers her head ever soo slightly and glares at you with those piercing green eyes.
When I found out she was having a baby, I was overjoyed for her. I was soo excited to attend her baby shower and it didn’t dissapoint! Let me tell you, everything was planned meticulously. This wasn’t a baby shower, it was a celebration of love for Jocelyn and Oz. You could feel the love throughout the room for the two of them. It was amazing!
As usual, I came with my camera and captured all the little details that I knew Joc would enjoy. Joc and Oz, I love you guys to the moon and I can’t wait for Baby Pena to get here.

Seeing these pics I want a baby just for the shower… LOL
